In 2016 I was invited to provide visuals for a concert held by Tinderbox Orchestra at the Hidden Door Festival in Edinburgh. This was an exciting collaboration where the music I was provided with provoked a visual outcome that was outside of my usual work.
Hand-made Cinema - The work of Norman McLaren, Abstract Loops
In 2014 I participated in a concert as part of an exhibition, Hand-made Cinema - The work of Norman McLaren, held in the Tablot Rice Gallery in Ediburgh. I was required to produce a series of loops inspired by the work of Norman McLaren that would be screened in tandem with an orchestral performance. Diving into the work of Norman McLaren, and gaining an understanding of the unorthodox analogue processes that he used, was hugely influential to my own work.
