This is my current passion project. A short animated film focusing on the inheritance of emotional flaws from one generation to the next. The film is currently in development and I work on it when between commissions.
I really enjoyed the character and world design stages. The family members here are designed to physically manifest their emotional traits.
Above are some storyboards from my film. My film has no dialogue, so without a script the storyboards have extra weight to carry in telling the story.
The next stage is building the layer layout, ready to be rigged and animated with Duik Tools in After Effects.
Here are a couple of shots that have gone through rigging, colouring, animation, and compositing. This is the aesthetic I am aiming for in the completed film.
