In 2021 I was invited by Chiwu Art Studio in Taipei to create and execute an 'Introduction to Animation' winter camp for students ranging from age 6-12. This four-part course was designed to focus on teaching timing, spacing, and character design, all fundamental skills to understanding and creating animation. Mostly analogue animation techniques were used, along with slides and worksheets aimed for maximum clarity and accessibility. The course was an absolute pleasure to teach, with some excellent animations produced that culminated in an exhibition of the students' work.
